Ultimate ATV

"The Ultimate ATV" - Ral Partha - Sterling Collection - 1992

This kit was a lot of fun to build and paint. It's a miniature at 55mm scale (or so) and was completely done by hand painting (no airbrush on this one).

Zentraedi Ship

This is an example of one of my completed projects. Spaceships are a lot of fun to build, Japanese kits doubly so!

Welcome!

So, here I am starting a blog about model building. Those who know me will already be asking themselves, "WHY would he start a blog about model building?"

The reason they would ask this is not because I don't build models... I do.

The reason is not because I can't do a good enough job of it either... I do.

The reason they would ask is because I rarely finish a model!

I do have quite a few finished models and miniatures and I will post a few pictures of them so you can take a look at the work I do. I have entered contests before and even won a category now and then. However, I really build models for myself. I build whatever catches my eye.

Most of the time this happens to be Sci Fi related. Spaceships, figures, robots / mecha... whatever. Some times it is more down to earth. I like to do a little bit of everything. And, there in lies my problem. I like to do a little bit of everything, all at the same time.

I have way to many models started at one time.

And this brings me to the purpose of this blog: motivation.

I am going to try to keep track of my current projects here and make regular updates to encourage myself to spend a little bit of time on a regular basis to move along some of these projects. I'll also try to review kits that I start to help out those people looking for information to help decide if they want to buy a kit or not.

So, if model building is your thing, please feel free to have a look around and leave a comment or two.
